The Rich Center Receives Grant Award |

U.S. Department of Education Awards Noncompetitive Congressionally -directed Grant to The Paula and Anthony Rich Center for the Study and Treatment of Autism For Distance Learning Technology and Programs. 
Youngstown, OH (April 10, 2008) – The U.S. Department of Education has awarded an $421,505 grant to The Paula and Anthony Rich Center for the Study and Treatment of Autism for Distance Learning Technology and Programs. One hundred percent of the Distance Learning Technology and Programs project will be funded by federal funds. U.S. Representative Tim Ryan will visit the Rich Center for Autism to celebrate the award with the Center’s Board of Trustees, students, parents, staff and YSU community on Monday, April 21 at 9:30 a.m. at The Rich Center for Autism which is located on the campus of Youngstown State University in Fedor Hall. The Distance Learning Technology and Programs project is scheduled to begin in June 2008 and extend to September 2009. The Rich Center for Autism was one of five institutions in the state of Ohio to receive a 2008 congressionally-directed grant. There were three hundred and thirty three congressionally-directed grants awarded nationally.
